SUMMARY:Moose Mountain Trail Races
DESCRIPTION:The Moose Mountain Trail Races (MMTR)\, hosted by Lewiston Ultra Events\, is Alberta’s oldest sanctioned trail race\, offering 16KM\, 29KM\, 42KM\, and 50KM solo mountain trail distances. This iconic event takes place on one of the original trail systems within the Kananaskis Country park system and has become a cornerstone of the trail running community. \nStarting and finishing at the West Bragg Creek recreational day-use area\, the course ascends from the rolling prairie into the foothills\, where over 150KM of beautifully crafted\, community-built trails await. Runners will experience an incredible journey along forested single and double-track trails\, with the 8\,000-foot Moose Mountain\, the highest peak in the range\, as their stunning backdrop. \nThis grassroots trail event has been a cherished part of the running community for over three decades. It’s more than a race—it’s a celebration of history\, tradition\, and the extraordinary community that comes together to cheer on every runner. \nLewiston Ultra Events is honoured to carry on the legacy of the Moose Mountain Trail Races\, a tradition that began in 1992.

DESCRIPTION:The Beer Mile is BACK! \nJoin us for our Third Annual One For The Road Beer Mile on Saturday\, August 22!\n\n\n\nGet ready for some friendly competition.\n\n\n\nThis non-alcoholic beer mile is not your typical race. Participants will be assigned heats and race a mile (4 laps around the 400m track)\, stopping every 400 meters to chug a One For The Road beer.\n\n\n\nThere will be a live DJ\, snacks\, prizes and more.
