SUMMARY:7th Annual Tsuut’ina Trail Run
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 7th Annual Tsuut’ina Trail Run \nThe vision of the Tsuut’ina Trail Run is to promote healthy lifestyles through physical activity while raising awareness and funds for community initiatives. \nThis year’s event will run on September 12\, 2026 beginning at 9:00 am. \nRegistration: $50.00 (not inc. processing fees) \nWe will be returning to the Tsuut’ina Nation Museum as the host site. This year’s course will be an out-and-back covering over 12 km-ish of single-track trails\, plenty of varying elevation with creek crossings\, and beautiful scenery. \nRegistration includes:\n– Technical jacket (Women) Technical Vest (Men) and hat *Registration after September 1\, cannot guarantee sizing/availability\n– Access to this amazing course for this ONE DAY only\n– Entry for draw prizes\n \nIn the previous year\, we have kept the race fees to ‘market rates’ and donated some funds to the Tsuut’ina Disability Program. However\, in light of the ‘high cost of living’ and rising race costs\, we wanted to give back and keep our race fees ‘LOW’. So we subsidized the race\, absorbed some of the swag costs\, and paid from our sponsorship dollars. \nAbout \nThe event will start and finish at the Tsuut’ina Nation Museum (64 Old Agency Road\, Tsuut’ina Nation) \nWe have revised the course to be an out-and-back format so it can provide runners with plenty more single track and varying terrain.

DESCRIPTION:Celebrating its 10th year in Calgary\, the RBC Race for the Kids is a family-friendly day that includes a 6-km run along scenic pathways overlooking the Glenmore Reservoir\, a pancake breakfast\, and a full day of family fun. \nRegistration includes a performance race T-shirt\, a completion medal\, all-day access to Heritage Park\, kid-friendly entertainment\, snacks and more (valued at more than $80)!  \nRegistrants can also choose to complete a shorter 1.7-km circuit inside the park – this is a favourite for families with little ones. \nSince it began in 2017\, the RBC Race for the Kids has raised more than $4.1 million in support of the increasing number of kids in our community who need mental health resources. The race helped create Calgary’s first community-based mental health centre for kids\, The Summit\, which opened its doors in the spring of 2023\, and funds programs and research specific to youth mental health that will help kids now and for generations to come.

Starting and finishing at Foothills Athletic Park. \nOur race features: Dinosaur T-Shirt and Medals\, Prizes and Medals for age group winners\, Fun for the whole family with stroller race categories and a kids Mini-Legend Track Meet (Ages 5-10)\, Beer Gardens and great food after the race and Student pricing. \nDino Dash supports the U of C Dinos track & field and cross-country teams! \nIn 2004\, two enterprising University of Calgary students dreamed up this race to help fund the University of Calgary’s Dinos cross country and track & field teams. Since then\, over $150\,000 has been contributed to help provide scholarships\, competition opportunities and uniforms for student athletes. Go Dinos!
