UUR 🇺🇦 Cheering station @ The Calgary Marathon

**Ukrainian Unity Runners — Official Cheering Zone | Calgary Marathon 2026**

Join the Ukrainian Unity Runners (UUR) community as we cheer on all participants at the 62nd Servus Calgary Marathon — Canada’s longest running marathon!

Whether you are racing to the finish line or cheering from the sidelines, we invite you to be part of our official Cheering Zone on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Our community will be set up along the course to support every runner with loud cheers, encouraging signs, and plenty of Ukrainian spirit.

**Event Details** Our Cheering Zone opens at 6:30 AM, in time to wish our runners well before the marathon and half marathon start at 6:45 AM. We will remain on course until approximately 1:30 PM to cheer every single finisher across the line — from the fastest runners to the last and most determined ones.

**For Runners** Come find us before the start to drop off your belongings and receive a send-off from our community. We will be cheering for you every step of the way and will be waiting for you at the finish line with open arms.

**For Supporters** Come join us at our Cheering Zone, bring your loudest voice, your most creative signs, and all the energy you have. The more the merrier — every cheer makes a difference when a runner hits the wall at kilometer 35.

**After Party** After the last finisher crosses the line, we invite everyone — runners and supporters — to celebrate together at a pizza and beer pub in the Sunalta neighbourhood. You earned it!

**About Ukrainian Unity Runners** Ukrainian Unity Runners (UUR) is a Calgary-based running community founded in 2023. We bring together runners of all levels every weekend for group runs, races, and community events. In three years we have grown into one of Calgary’s most active and welcoming running communities, united by a love of running, friendship, and Ukrainian culture.
